Applicants applying to our Advanced (A) track have the option of a guaranteed preliminary medicine PGY1 position at one of our institutions. Applicants applying for the Advanced (A) track will start their neurology training with us in their PGY2 year after completion of their PGY1 preliminary medicine year. Please let us know if you are interested in a preliminary medicine position at our institutions when you apply.
Our application deadline is February 1st but we strongly encourage candidates to submit their applications as early as possible. We begin contacting applicants selected to interview after applications are released in mid-October. We hold interviews from late October through early February, excluding major holidays. Please notify us within 72 hours of receiving an interview offer to confirm your interview date and let us know if you are interested in a preliminary medicine spot at our institutions. Interviews for the 2021 match season will take place virtually as part of ACGME requirements due to the current pandemic. Virtual interviews will take place on the online platform Zoom and instructions will be sent 1 week prior to your scheduled interview.
Candidates should submit applications through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) to our program (ID# 1803500156). We will be participating in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) for 2021. Our NRMP Program code is 1515180A0.
